Use my tips on anti aging makeup.
Just because you're getting older...
doesn't mean you have to throw in the towel.
Take care of your aging skin. Get lots of rest. Try to eat healthy and try to exercise. Don't let your face look old and tired. Yes, I'm telling you to age gracefully. Speaking of aging gracefully, I'm a huge fan of Adrien Arpel. She wrote the original book on how to look ten years younger.
Application Tips1.
MOISTURIZE!: As skin ages, it loses moisture. Before any makeup, put on your
favorite moisturizer. Don't forget your neck and chest. Use a moisturizer that's specifically made for aging skin and contains an SPF (sun protection factor)of at least 15.
2. Less is more. Some of you might think that you can cover your wrinkles with more makeup. Don't do that. Too much makeup will slide into lines and emphasize imperfections. You'll look younger if you keep your makeup light.
3. Choose light/warm colors. Anti aging cosmetics aren't about the latest trends. You might have worn blue nail polish and purple lipstick when you were younger, but those colors might not look good on you any more. It's hard to let go of our favorite bright and bold colors but they might not help you look any younger.
4. Less powder. Avoid using a lot of face powder if you can. It's hard, I know. I love my compact too, but the powder tends to settle in facial lines.

Don't worry. Be happy. Stress is linked to aging, so try to relax.
