Perfect Bridal Makeup

bridalmakeup1

The big day is coming. Your bridal makeup has to be perfect. When I say perfect, I mean immaculate, flawless, breathtaking but modest.

Being a bride is like being a queen for a day. Everyone will stare at you with such reverence that you will feel angelic. So many preparations have been made. So much thought has been put into every detail.

Please don't think that you don't need any makeup because the dress is so perfect.

If your culture requires you to wear certain makeup for the ceremony, then be glad that you have one less thing to worry about on your big day.

If you have to decide what makeup to wear then hopefully these tips will help you.

1. Never mind the current trends. Wear colors that will compliment your skin tone and the color of your dress.

2. "Less is more." I think a minimalistic approach will keep you looking classy. You probably don't want to be too sexy or unrestricted.

3. If you're having someone apply your makeup, make sure you have a "dress rehearsal". Get that person to apply your makeup just as they will on your wedding day so that you can see exactly what it's going to look like. Don't wear your wedding dress because you don't want to get it dirty. Instead, wear a shirt of the same color and wear your hair similar to the way it will be on your wedding day. This way you'll get an idea of what to expect and you can make changes to makeup colors ahead of time if needed.

4. If you're going to take care of your face that day, try a mineral makeup. I think it'll give you a soft air-brushed look with a hint of shimmer.

5. No matter what lipstick you normally wear, give serious consideration to long-wearing lip color. You will be doing a lot of kissing, hugging, eating, drinking and talking and laughing. A long wear lip color will last and not get on anyone else.

The most important advice I can give you about your bridal makeup is to experiment and practice with color choices BEFORE your wedding day. And no matter what, wear what makes you feel good.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I'm sure that you will look perfect.
