Foundation Makeup Done Easy
I think foundation makeup is so important for a flawless look. How many of us are born with perfectly smooth skin and no color imperfections? Probably none.
So many women skip foundation for many reasons.
1. It makes me break out.
2. It feels too heavy.
3. It doesn't look natural.
4. I can't find the right color.
5. I have sensitive skin and I get rashes.
6. I've never worn it before.
etc.
Let my foundation makeup tips help resolve these problems for you. There are foundations to resolve these issues.
Foundation does two things for us. It evens out skin tone and acts as a base for all other makeup. You want a smooth even canvas before you start applying any color.

Choosing Foundation Makeup Color
- Don't choose your foundation when in a hurry. You'll probably end up getting the wrong one.
- Make sure you have enough light to see the color clearly. Artificial light can be deceptive. It might look perfect indoors but different in daylight.
- Test it on your jawline and let it stay for a few minutes. The acid balance of your skin may affect the color.
- If you're stuck between two shades, always go with the lighter one. The darker shade will leave more obvious lines.
- Be patient. If you don't get the right shade the first time. Different brands all have different colors, even if they call the shade "true beige".
If you want to try a drug store brand, ask if they have a cosmetics guarantee. It's excellent to get your money back if the color is wrong or if you just don't like the makeup you chose.
I'm a big fan of drug store brands because I don't like to spend a lot of money on makeup. But if you're new to foundation, you might want to go to a department store where the nice ladies there will let you try on the foundation and help you find the perfect shade.
After you've chosen a foundation, just put it on.
